About Me

Clarence “Til” Tillery: I am a Silver descendant through my mother, Ada Lou Silver. I have been involved with the Kona Silver reunion on and off since the early 1980’s. Because I am a Silver family member, I feel a sincere need to keep the reunion, newsletter, and our Silver data materials maintained until we can become fully reestablished. I was involved with John Silver in publishing the original Silver newsletter and maintained the reunion genealogical table for a number of years, filling in for John Silver as he battled cancer. In addition, I have continued to maintain his Silver family genealogical records since his death.

ANCESTRAL ORGANIZATION MEMBERSHIP

Johann Jurg "George Jr." Silver (1753 -1839) was a Patriot in the struggle for American independence. He served in several units as a private. He has been recognized by both the Daughters Of The American Revolution and The Sons Of The American Revolution as a Patriot. Membership in either Society is possible for a proven direct descendant. An applicant must prove and document each connection in his or her line. This task requires diligent research and organization. I, Clarence A. "Til" Tillery will provide available database information to assist an applicant in research of their linage. Where documentation is available, I will attempt to provide it, but in no case, will I be responsible for basic research or completion of the application. I will be glad to advise an applicant regarding proper protocol.

ANCESTOR GENEALOGY and LINAGE SEARCH

Clarence A. "Til" Tillery maintains a Silver Family Descendant database containing 45,000 plus person entries. This data was obtained from Family Group Sheets, Family History Accounts, Bible Records, Public Records, Census Data, Oral History Records, Cemetery Census and many other records sources. The material is in the process of being thoroughly documented. In its present form, the information could be helpful in establishing a basic linage. It has been my policy to help those interested in constructing their ancestral linage. I will accept your queries and will attempt to make connections to persons in our records. I do not do primary or basic research since there are many professional genealogists that provide that service.
